Mike Chabot's Biohacking Stack: What I Actually Use (2026)
The Architect Protocol

The Stack I
Actually Use

The honest, no-hype list of the biology tools I run personally. Not everything on the market. The short list I pay for myself.

None of this fixes you.

If you are externally successful and quietly hollow, no sauna, supplement, or gadget closes that gap. That work happens at the identity level, and it comes first. Always.

But once the inner work is moving, your biology becomes the next real point of leverage. Body, mind, and business run on one system. When the body runs clean, everything upstream gets easier.

So this is the part where, if you want to put a budget toward tools, I tell you exactly what I use. In the order I would build it.

Two promises. I only put my name on things I would hand a close friend. And where a link earns me a commission, I say so plainly at the bottom of this page. The recommendation comes first.

In order of how I'd build it

Five layers

Enhans Black Gold shilajit and mindhack supplements
01Foundation

Supplements first

My brand · Enhans

Tools amplify a strong foundation. They cannot replace one.

Before any device, you cover the basics. Sleep, training, sunlight, food, and the right supplementation. My own brand comes first here because I formulated it to be the base layer for everything else on this page. Black Gold shilajit for energy and vitality. Mindhack for clarity and focus.

Get this layer right before you spend on anything below it.

Mike Chabot with the Tyent hydrogen water ionizer
02Water

Clean, hydrogen-rich water

From Tyent

Most people drink water full of things they would never knowingly put in their body.

The single biggest upgrade here is clean water, full stop. Filtering out the junk is non-negotiable for me. The molecular hydrogen is the upgrade on top, and I feel a real difference in steady energy and recovery when I drink it consistently.

The honest read. Clean filtered water is a no-brainer. On hydrogen specifically, the human research is early but encouraging, pointing toward antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Not settled science, and I will not pretend it is. The downside is basically zero, and you stop buying bottled water. The easiest yes on the list.

Mike Chabot in a SaunaSpace near-infrared red light sauna
03Heat + Light

Sauna plus red light

From SaunaSpace

If you can only add one device, this is the one.

A near-infrared sauna that combines heat with red and near-infrared light in one session. This is the tool I would fight to keep. Deeper sleep, faster recovery, clearer head, better skin. Twenty-five minutes a few times a week, and the compounding over months is hard to overstate.

The honest read. Sauna is one of the most well-studied longevity practices there is. A twenty-year Finnish study of thousands of men linked frequent use, four to seven times a week, with lower cardiovascular and all-cause mortality versus once a week. Observational, so a strong link rather than proof, but about as good as this research gets. The red-light side keeps growing for skin, recovery, and mood. I would buy it for the sauna alone and treat the light as a bonus.

Mike Chabot on the inHarmony vibroacoustic bed
04Nervous System

inHarmony vibration bed

From inHarmony

It does the meditating for you.

A bed and cushion system with transducers that send sound and vibration through your body while you listen. This is my deep-meditation tool. If you have ever struggled to quiet your mind and actually drop in, the mix of sound in your ears and vibration through your body pulls you into a depth most people cannot reach alone.

The honest read. It is called vibroacoustic therapy, and the research links it to a clear shift toward the rest-and-recover side of the nervous system, lower stress, easier relaxation. Studies are small but consistent in that direction. For high-strung, type-A people who cannot sit still, it is the shortcut into the state you are chasing.

Earthing grounding mat on a bed
05Grounding

Grounding and earthing

From Earthing

The real version is free. This is the backup for indoor life.

Mats, sheets, and patches that connect you to the earth's charge while you are inside. I feel more settled and energized when I use them, especially on days I am stuck indoors and barely touch the ground.

The honest read, straight. The research here is early and contested. Some small studies suggest effects on sleep, stress, and inflammation, but it is nowhere near the evidence behind sauna or clean water, and plenty of scientists are skeptical. So here is my position. The real thing is free. Walk barefoot on grass, get sun on your skin, put your body on the actual earth. These products are a useful backup for indoor life, not a replacement. I use them in that spirit, and that is the only way I would recommend them.

How I would sequence it

Foundation first, supplements included. Then clean water, because it touches everything. Then sauna and light, because the payoff is large and well supported. The inHarmony and grounding are amplifiers you add once the basics are locked in.

You do not need all of it. Start with what fits your budget and your life, in that order.

Beyond the gear

A few other things I made or live by

The Book

The Book of Akim

A story, not a manual. Written in the spirit of The Alchemist. You follow the main character through his breakthroughs, and somewhere in there they become yours.

Daily Practice

The Gratitude Journal

The morning practice I still run. Not woo. Reps for your attention.

The Podcast

Long-form, no fluff

Conversations on identity, money, and the inner game. New episodes coming. The back catalog already runs deep.

Meditation

The Gateway practice and more

A declassified CIA document on using sound to alter consciousness. I built a practice around it, plus a full playlist to take you there. Powerful, and a little strange.

Straight answers

Common questions

Do biohacking tools fix burnout or feeling empty?

No. If you are externally successful and quietly hollow, no device or supplement closes that gap. That work happens at the identity level, and it comes first. Tools amplify a strong foundation. They cannot replace one. Fix the inner operating system, then use biology as leverage.

What is the best biohacking device to start with?

A sauna with red and near-infrared light, like the SaunaSpace unit I use. Sauna is one of the most well-studied longevity practices there is, with strong observational data linking frequent use to lower cardiovascular and all-cause mortality. If you can only add one device, start here.

Is hydrogen water actually worth it?

The clean, filtered water is the real win, and that alone justifies a system like Tyent. Molecular hydrogen is the upgrade on top. Human research on hydrogen is early but points toward antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Not settled science, near-zero downside, and you stop buying bottled water.

Is grounding or earthing legit?

The free version is. Walk barefoot on grass, get sun on your skin, put your body on the actual earth. The research on grounding products is early and contested, nowhere near the evidence behind sauna or clean water. I use Earthing mats as a backup for indoor life, not a replacement for the real thing.
